Vice President of Entertainment Operations

Caesars Entertainment Corporation

This is a Full-time position in Las Vegas, NV posted November 28, 2021.

The Vice President of Venue Management and Entertainment Operations (“VP”) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of venue and entertainment operations within Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas portfolio, consisting of over 15 venues with capacities from 170 to 7,000 seats, more than 20 resident productions and numerous A-list music residences.

The VP will lead a team specializing in technical operations, front of house, event management, booking and support functions. 

The VP will be a high-profile, leadership position within the Entertainment Department, interacting with key stakeholders such as artists, producers / promoters and other venue partners as well as Caesars Entertainment senior management.


Oversee the presentation, management and operation of Caesars Entertainment’s performance venues throughout its eight Las Vegas properties, including the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood
Lead, provide direction and mentor an expansive, city-wide entertainment operations team
Provide direction and guidance on matters related to show operations and production
Oversee maintenance, upkeep and overall presentation of venues to ensure each continually operate at the highest standards
Review operating and performance schedules to ensure venues, shows and staff operate at optimal efficiency with attention to budget and revenue upside
Collaborate with shows / artists, artist management, promoter / producer partners and other key stakeholders on all aspects related to proper presentation of shows
Engage with artists / show producers on design, production development, timeline and creative processes
Participate in the business development process, with input on deal structure, financial modeling and production considerations
Input on the contractual process, including drafting of LOI’s, agreements, extensions and other related matters
Input on the structuring of pro formas, deal memos and performance offers
Work closely with the Department’s Finance teams on all forecasting, budgeting and financial tracking
Compile, review and approve relevant expense and financial information for reporting on settlement, budgeting, reimbursement and / or AP
Oversee department operating budget including any reforecasts and projections
Collaborate with leaders from the Entertainment Department, and company overall, to improve communication, enhance efficiencies, streamline decision making and seek out operating synergies
Serve as key point of contact to all key third-party partners and service providers
Lead cross-functional cooperation with other departments supporting entertainment and / or venues
Provide direction, guidance and support for hiring / terminating, training, scheduling, evaluating and promoting of all team members
Develop training plans for all team members along with department SOP’s
Review and approve all departmental SOP’s and practices to ensure standards are being achieved and exceeded wherever as possible
Continually seek improvements in production, operations and guest experience standards through learnings and, where possible, best-in-class industry practices and trends
From time-to-time, consult on operational-related matters at Caesars properties outside Las Vegas
Other projects as assigned by the Vice President of Corporate Entertainment


The VP will at times work non-traditional hours planning and supporting live entertainment city-wide.

The VP will operate in a dynamic, fast paced, and at times stressful, environment and will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously while demonstrating judgement on prioritization.

Requires an experienced, highly energetic and detail-oriented self-starter.

Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 


10 to 12 years of venue operations, management and / or live event experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Must possess excellent planning, team building and problem-solving skills. 


Must qualify for, obtain and maintain any necessary licenses.


Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Ability to effectively write correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Ability to apply common sense and understanding in order to effectively carry out written or oral instructions. 


Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.


Ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time.

The position also requires substantial walking, bending, and lifting.
