Job Description What will I be doing? As a Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing Special Projects, you would be responsible for implementing your position’s responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards. This role is part of the Sales Operations & Business Development team, playing a pivotal role supporting the department and its objectives, specifically around the development of the top performers program, sales training materials, driving operational efficiencies for the broader sales function and staging business critical events, mainly the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and Champions Club annual events! Plan, organize and manage the annual Tournament of Champions and Champions Club events, including: promotional campaigns to drive awareness, attendance and media coverage; negotiating and securing venues, strategic partners, suppliers and accommodations; driving attendance; production of invitations, collateral, signage and awards as well as online and digital assets. The Project Director collaborates closely with business partners to successfully stage these two events and supervises all facets of event management with the Entertainment, Brand & Creative, Human Resources, Resort Operations and Executive teams. Create Sales and Marketing training materials as needed, working closely with the Learning and Development team and Instructional Designers. Assist in the creation and launch of special programs, products or services that support the business. Strong writing and editing skills. Detail oriented. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Workfront. Understand how to develop and implement business strategies. Ability to interpret and create policies, procedures and manuals. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes. Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation. Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, within established timeframes.
