Senior Manager, Technical Solutions

This is a Full-time position in Las Vegas, NV posted June 20, 2022.

The TeamWe are seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Solutions, to join American Towers U.S.

Tower divisions Technology Solutions and Engineering team.

Day to day you will provide technical consulting to customers by articulating the benefit of offered solutions and helping them understand and connect the dots between how those offerings can help solve their specific problems and needs.

As a Senior Manager, you will drive success with internal and external customers by leading a team focused on methodical and disciplined approaches towards evaluating and translating customers desires, mapping to offered solutions, and presenting the values of the solutions to the customers.What You Can Offer Us Lead a team that provides to internal and external customers technical consulting on offered solutions.

Prepare and deliver to prospective customers impactful presentations that outline the value of solutions.

Serve as the lead technical resource for developing solutions and offerings to respond to time sensitive competitive requests for proposal.

Act as the pre-sales engineering interface for internal teams; resolve open issues and feed projects to the delivery team.

Conduct market trend research and analyses to assess customers needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.

Lead the planning, communication, execution, and executive updates of and for large special projects.

Engage with and manage updates, issue resolutions, etc., with established partners.

Analyze customers requests and provide recommendations for evolving solutions in accordance with market demand.

Serve as the prime point of contact with cross-functional teams for process and system optimization initiatives.

Develop strong partnerships with engineering peers; seek and provide feedback for continual improvements of designed solutions.

As a Senior Manager, you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management, and career development of engineers.

Youll also cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.

Other duties as assigned.What You Need to Succeed Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

A minimum of 6 years of relevant technical wireless communications experience required.

Four years of experience leading a team of engineering professionals preferred.

Excellent presentation preparation and delivery skills required.

Sound understanding of wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi 6, LTE, 5G), private networks, CBRS, RAN, EPC, Cloud native, Virtualization, software defined, open RAN, etc., preferred Ability to grasp, and simplify for a target audience, complex technical details of solutions.

Strong critical thinking skills, with a proven capability to work both independently and with others to solve complex problems.

Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present ideas and suggestions concisely, clearly, and effectively.

Approximately 25% travel may be required to support the positions responsibilities.

Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and a team to meet requirements and deadlines.

Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
