That means more money for conservation and more support for wildlife management, preserving public lands for generations to come.nn nn n nn nn Role Overview nn nnWe are looking for an experienced Merchandise Manager who will be responsible for the pre-season and in-season forecasting, financial planning, assortment planning, margin analysis and inventory control to support our rapidly growing eCommerce business unit.

While reporting to the President, they will build, lead and engage our quickly growing team of buyers.

They will have strong presentation and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will be flexible, creative, analytical, and able to drive negotiations through to completion.

The position is full-time and is based in our Las Vegas office.nn nn nn nnResponsibilitiesnn Own company’s buying and inventory strategy end to end Provide leadership, skills development and mentoring opportunities to a growing team of buyers  Collaborate with Buyers, and applicable cross-functional teams to develop high level coordination, and execute calculated strategies that support future financial and product opportunities Lead communication with buyers, marketing teams, and key stakeholders ensuring all promotions are reinforced through inventory management, style selection, and pricing Forecast sales and inventory position on a weekly/monthly/seasonal basis at the company, brand, product group, and style levels Recap business performance, and communicate financial results to cross-functional teams, reviewing variance to plan, deviations to trend, current forecasts, and action plans Collaborate on the implementation of new company-wide systems and technologies to assure planning process needs are met.  nn nn nnRequired Qualificationsnn nn n nn Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college 8+ years of experience in retail Planning or Buying, with at least 3 years at an e-commerce company 2+ years of experience in management or leadership roles Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities  Exceptional work ethic and entrepreneurial / collaborative spirit High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude to learn technical applications quickly nn nn nnPreferred Qualificationsnn Knowledge of Outdoor products  Passion for the outdoors
