As a Business Broker Manager with Raincatcher, you will lead the small business community by overseeing business brokers as they help entrepreneurs buy and sell companies.

The ability to deliver empathetic and persuasive messaging, provide guidance during complex situations and problem-solve is critical.

You will be the expert who leads others toward becoming experts while driving key metrics, and you will enjoy seeing their success from your active coaching.

Our firm represents the Sell Side of the transaction and focuses on small to middle-market-sized businesses ranging from $1 million to $30 million across diverse industries.

We need competitive, driven, achievement-oriented business-savvy brokerage professionals to lead our brokerage team as we guide small business owners nationwide toward the successful achievement of their American Dream, doing so through experienced management and holding accountability to established processes to accomplish those goals.

The Business Broker Manager role requires the ability to work well under varying focuses and pressure situations because you will be bouncing between, as well as prior experience in management, business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, sales, financial analysis, and negotiations.

You will be jumping from project to project so having the flexibility to manage multiple responsibilities is critical for success.

You must have high ethical and professional standards, be a confident, creative problem-solver, with a strong enough ego to know when you deserve credit and when the team deserves credit.

As a Business Broker Manager you will: Manage and lead brokerage intermediaries in the sale of businesses between all parties Think strategically and solve problems that have yet to be identified Answer broker questions that come up during the selling & buying process with their clients Identify potential retraining opportunities Hold procedural accountability to ensure compliance with established processes Operate with utmost confidentiality and integrity Work with our leadership team to improve brokerage processes Our ideal candidate: Has 10 years of business brokerage / M&A transactional experience and knows how to get a deal to the finish line Has 5 years of managerial experience and understands how to motivate & hold accountability within their team Has strong communication and active listening skills Is an experienced negotiator Has proven past success in brokering business sales and producing consistent six-figure income Has a Bachelors degree in business or finance, MBA preferred Works well remotely and is self-motivated Embraces technology in a virtual office environment Has been, or is currently, a small business owner Is an entrepreneurial, charismatic team player with a real desire to build a successful career Technical Skills and Qualifications; In-depth understanding of Business Brokerage, Finance, and Business Valuation Ability to manage and coach multiple employees simultaneously without micromanaging Willing to delegate and empower the business brokers under your umbrella Ability to answer questions about multiple deals to provide guidance & identify additional training opportunities Excellent client-facing sales experience Excellent communication skills Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Self-Motivation and organization Problem-solving ability in unique situations The urgency to achieve with enough patience to understand when to slow down Must be able to pass a full background check Compensation: Base Salary commission Competitive Commission Structure plus bonuses Full benefits are available after one month Office Benefits & Growth Opportunity: Three-month onboarding and training process W2 or 1099 position Continued training and support (sales scripts, lead prospecting techniques, online lead generation, closing techniques, negotiation tactics, business management, etc.) CRM, Software, and Marketing Provided Growth and management potential within the organization Opportunity to work from home with limited travel Working with us is not for everyone.
