Assistant Property Manager


This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted November 22, 2021.

The Assistant Property Manager will manager will manage the rent collection process and assist Community Manager.

In the absence of the Community Manager, the Assistant Community Manager will perform the duties associated to that position.

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide superior customer service Assist in conducting market surveys Show, lease, and move in prospective residents Update unit availability daily Process rental applications Assist Community Manager in collecting rents and depositing procedures.

Receive and process collections in accordance with company standards Collect past due balances from former residents Maintain all resident files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all paperwork and documentation Maintain a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all move-in appointments are completed and all apartments are inspected to ensure all apartments are move-in ready according to GoldOller standards Demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints and direct pertinent issues and matters to the Community Manager Conduct resident move-out apartment inspections and complete deposit accountings with Community Managers approval Maintain all account records and transactions including NSFs, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management approved debits and credits In Community Managers absence, aid in monitoring staff for the successful operation of the community.

Being thoroughly familiar with the local area and the community and what it has to offer prospective residents.

Skill Requirements Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge of RealPage products preferred, including OneSite, YieldStar, Lead2Lease and Ops Technology.

Possess strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

Have a complete understanding of Fair Housing and knowledge of other laws that apply to property management, such as Fair Credit Reporting Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Landlord Tenant Law, OSHA Standards, local and state building codes.

Able to work in a fast paced environment with little direction.

Position Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Bachelors degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred.

Experience: Two years of residential property management experience as an Assistant Community Manager Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) a plus Able to work weekends.

Able to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00
