This is your chance to join Karbon at a really exciting time after our recent 66M Series B raise. In this full-time Business Development Representative role you’re going to be hungry to help us meet our expansion goals.

No experience? No problem! On day one you’ll join a group of peers in a four week BDR training course with loads of guest speakers, specific/realistic simulations of “on-the-job” situations, and tips, swag/merch, lunch/dinners and loads of support to ensure you’re successful from day 1 on the job! As a Business Development Representative, you will…

  • Call, email, and engage with outbound leads on social networks daily
  • Build email, social, and physical mail campaigns to engage with prospects and ultimately book meetings with Account Executives
  • Proactively engage with and reconnect with former prospects
  • Qualify and understand a prospect’s needs
  • Convert leads into qualified prospects

About You

Candidates with the following qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply:

  • Proactive, dynamic approach to starting, learning and growing your career in SaaS
  • Comfortable working independently in a very fast-paced and tech-savvy environment
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and the results to show for it
  • Ability to listen to a customer’s challenges and ask questions to better understand their needs
  • Physically located and authorized to work in the United States (willing to be relocated to the San Jose, CA area we assist with costs)
  • High level of proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken
  • Bonus points if you have prior experience using Salesforce, Outreach, and Handwritten

  • Recent grads – very welcome!
  • Previous sales experience in any environment i.e. retail, tech, real estate, admin roles etc.
  • Confidence picking up the phone and getting on a call with potential customers
