Talent Acquisition Partner

Silverton Casino

This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted June 17, 2022.

General Summary of Job Duties

Responsible for recruitment for Silverton Casino LLC, and all affiliated properties. The scope of responsibilities includes assessing workforce level, identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, and conducting a pre-screening process. A successful Talent Acquisition Partner has excellent interpersonal skills, is organized and detail-oriented, and remains up-to-date with recruitment tools.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and discuss workforce needs with department leaders.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Provide information on the company and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Pre-screen applicants to evaluate the required skill-set and their soft skills.
  • Refer qualified applicants to the department hiring personnel for follow-up interviews.
  • Maintain and manage Applicant Tracking System as well as all recruitment-related tools.
  • Provide data-driven progress updates to HR Director.
  • Attract suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
  • Promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
  • Maintain Excellent Guest Service standards outlined by Silverton Casino, LLC.
  • May assist the Human Resources leadership team in researching and preparing sensitive investigative information as assigned.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and security of relevant information at all times.
  • Maintain an awareness of applicable laws and operates within those guidelines.
  • Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

 

Job Specifications

  • Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills in regards to working with diverse people and levels of authority.
  • Knowledge and experience with computers and software programs including word processing and spreadsheets such as Word for Windows and Excel.
  • Must have the ability to work with payroll and human resources system Infinium and ADP.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • This position requires sufficient experience, education, and job knowledge to meet current business needs.

Skills, Education & Other Requirements

  • 2 years of recruitment experience is required.
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
