Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the planning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and documentation of client/server environments.

In addition, you will maintain other IT assets, prepare equipment for reuse or disposal, and liaise with other IT personnel and external vendors.At BBN we offer an exciting and collaborative workplace where you will work directly with our engineering team, customers, and other staff to solve complex and interesting problems.

• BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5 years (8 years if no degree) of experience in Systems Administration
• U.S.

Citizen with an active TOP SECRET security clearance
• CompTIA Security CE certification or other equivalent which meets DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and NIST 800-171 standards and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Knowledge of networking essentials including common ports & protocols, DHCP, DNS, switching/routing, firewalls, etc
• A solid understanding of Windows operating systems with a good understanding of Linux operating systems as well
• Experience with several of the following tools: STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, Splunk, Nessus
• Experience in identifying tasks that would benefit from automation, and with automation implementation
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasking and to self-direct when necessaryDesired Additional Skills:
• Cisco certification or experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco switching/routing/firewall products
• Knowledge of additional operating systems (e.g.

macOS, VMWare ESXi, etc)
• Familiarity with the use of Atlassian software products (e.g.

Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket)Additional Information:
