Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted May 12, 2022.

Overview: What you will do in this role You will be in an individual contributor role with the ability to take ownership of projects and processes within our developing Talent Acquisition Team.

As a senior specialist of the team, you will oversee many of the administration responsibilities of recruiting and reporting.

The team is in the early stages of development therefore with many processes, procedures, sourcing strategies still being defined.

You will support the complete life cycle of the recruiting process for corporate, management, and high-volume hourly positions.

This includes: Managing logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process, working with hiring managers on job openings and refining job descriptions and job advertisements to best present the opportunity to potential candidates internally and externally.

You will post jobs, receive, and screen resumes, conduct phone screens and/or in-person interviews to assess candidates, schedule interviews and coordinate calendars for interview availability, manage candidate communication and relationship building, keep all records up to date both within the recruiting system and for reporting, manage all pre-employment processes.

What responsibilities will you haveWork closely with hiring managers in understanding their business needs and building trusting and positive relationships by providing recruiting knowledge and recruiting solutions.Lead overall company recruitment efforts to include assisting managers with job postings, sourcing, recruiting, and screening qualified candidates from external and internal sources.Conduct phone screens and measure candidates against a specific job profile, recommend candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews, disposition both external and internal candidates.Work with management to guide the interview process, while ensuring a fair and equitable hiring decision is made and documented appropriately.Assist the hiring manager by reviewing and ensuring a timely completion of all candidate paperwork and documents obtained through the hiring process.Work in conjunction with HR Administration Team to coordinate the background screening and onboarding processes.Coordinate and host job fairs as needed and/or local sourcing efforts.Responsible for responding to potential applicants via phone, website inquiries or other medium regarding recruitment process.Conduct follow-up studies of staffing, sourcing efforts to evaluate and measure results; modify programs as needed.Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environmentWork effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff.This role also supports the Applicant Tracking, Pre-Hire and Onboarding processes as it relates to compliance with Federal and State laws.Assist with any OFCCP Audits as it relates to Sourcing, Hiring and Recruiting practices.Perform other responsibilities in support of the Talent Acquisition Team and/or broader Human Resources organization as needed or as requested.What experience and qualifications will you bringBachelor’s degree required2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience requiredExperience working successfully within an environment of dispersed locationsFlexibility and some travel may be required.Limited, however, flexibility to be connected and responsible to management during evenings and weekends as needed.High customer service and relationship orientation

You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information.Strong computer skills including : Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with on-line recruiting platforms, social media, and targeted recruitment sourcesExperience with iCIMS or similar ATS system with the ability to adapt to other systems as needed.You will work with You’ll be working with a closely knit team of Talent Acquisition and Human Resources members in our Plano, Texas Corporate Office.

You will be on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office with the ability to work 2 days remote, if you choose.

You’ll work with the other Talent Acquisition team members to back each other up and help each other out or when someone is out of the office.

The team is very collaborative and enjoys supporting each other.
