Senior Compensation Analyst (Remote Centric)

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Compensation Analyst .

The Senior Compensation Analyst conducts data analysis and assists in the administration of the organization’s compensation programs.

Participates in salary surveys and uses survey data to evaluate internal positions for market competitiveness.

Recommends grade assignments and exemption status.

Manages job descriptions and data warehousing process.

Partners with internal customers on compensation-related requests.

Documents processes and develops training materials.

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Participates in third party salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization’s market competitiveness Reviews job descriptions and collaborates with business partners and business leaders on best practice Evaluates pay grades based on external market data and internal comparators Conducts audits to ensure FLSA status complies with Federal regulations Performs data analysis to support ongoing initiatives Completes annual benchmarking analysis Assists in the planning and execution of annual merit process and other compensation adjustment cycles Administers company short-term incentive plan, including identifying eligible population and calculating payouts Supports the business in drafting and finalizing incentive plan documents and manages related bonuses Maintains the job table and performs regular audits for accuracy Participates in the development and implementation of salary administration guidelines Conducts research, analyzes data, and identifies trends in compensation; continually reviews internal practices and policies to ensure that best practices are utilized Documents and maintains administrative procedures for compensation processes Actively participates in compensation initiatives and projects Other duties as assigned Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so Qualifications Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Advanced level Excel skills.

Self-motivated and ability to work well within a fast-paced environment Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University 4 to 6 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite Advanced Knowledge of Excel including advanced formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc.

Advanced knowledge of MS Access, building queries, executing macros, etc.
