You will be the primary technical point of contact in the sales cycle, with the aim of answering all technical questions and any objections/concerns that may arise.To accomplish this, the Product Owner must have a strong desire to leverage their technical skills as well as their sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.You will need to empathize with our client’s needs, challenges, and desires (primarily in the Alternative Lending space) and then be able to demonstrate how our products and solutions are the best options for their specific business.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain in-depth knowledge of products, updates, add-ons, and more.Act as expert product liaison for clients.Conduct product demos and presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.Expand the reach and effectiveness of existing products, including making recommendations for new execution and support models, as well as technological improvements.Leverage knowledge of the organization’s technology space to identify potential solutions that may solve business requirements.Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Fundingo product portfolioDesign, build and demonstrate innovative solutions to address these challengesPresent Fundingo technology solutions to clients, demonstrating deep familiarity with our software, integrations, frameworks, and overall resultsFunction as the primary technical point of contact for the Sales team, assisting in various parts of the sales cycleParticipate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training, and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the positionWork closely with the Product team for any necessary proof of concepts needed for sales demos.Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with managementRespond effectively to RFIs/RFPs, when necessaryActive participation in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and balancing multiple projects in a team selling environmentGENERAL REQUIREMENTS3 – 6 years of working experience in banking or lending, especially loan origination, underwriting, and loan managementHighly skilled in the use of IT platforms, such as loan management platformsBS in Accounting, Business, or related fieldStrong analytical and diagnostic skillsExcellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsSuccessful track record communicating with executives and peersAbility to perform as part of a cross-functional team to solve technical problems based on tight deadlines and based on goals
