Quality Assurance Engineer


This is a Full-time position in Las Vegas, NV posted November 10, 2022.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Arete, you are responsible for providing QA support for the development and production of computer and lidar products in our production facility.

These products include hardware and software elements.

Duties also include, the ability to review requirement specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

Monitor, audit and provide performance reporting on the production of deliverable hardware products.

Investigating the causes of non-conforming hardware & facilitate to conduct investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Track quality assurance metrics, including but not limited to, non-conformances, bug reports, and corrective action implementation activities.

Witness and verify regression testing and product acceptance testing.

Aid in the processing of incoming material in support of production builds.

Participating in all QA meetings and providing program managers and engineers with necessary data to make informed decisions.

Facilitate Program level MRB meetings and resolve quality issues using the TipQA Database.

This position is based in our Tucson, AZ office.

This position is a exempt, full-time, non-supervisory position.

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

· 5 years’ experience in quality assurance
· 4 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing environment
· 1 years’ experience in software industry
· Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Capacity to work independently and in a team
· Proven capability to comprehend and represent technical product specifications
· Ability to acquire a TS security clearance
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process (a plus)
· Understanding of QA process for software development, debugging and release (a plus) Other Requirements U.S.
