Quality Associate

We are seeking a talented person to join our Quality team. You will be evaluating our product and performing calibration service on our products. You will also provide feedback on product performance and help maintain our reputation for quality products. This position is a critical role as you will be responsible for maintaining the product’s quality. This position requires attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. With an increased demand for our product, comes an increase in production, but we will not sacrifice our quality, that is where you come in.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Inspect parts, packaging components, raw materials and finished products
• Use measurement tools such as measuring tape, scales and thickness gauges
• Inspect and verify labeling and quantities
• Read and interpret manufacturing specifications
• Operate a label scanner and tablet
• Identify and control nonconforming product
• Set an example for best practices for quality and safety
• Other duties as necessitated by the business

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior QC, Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

• Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
• Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted
• Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
• Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
