Lead Caregiver Job Description

Productive Homecare Services is seeking an experienced Lead Caregiver to act as a liaison between caregivers and clients.

The lead caregivers must meet certain requirements;
must be 18 years of age or older
must be able to read, write, and speak English (bi-lingual preferred)
must have 2 years of demonstrated exemplary performance as a caregiver either in a private or agency setting
Lead Caregiver or Supervisor experience preferred
must be able to understand the Plan of Care for all clients
must be able to pass competency test
must be able to pass background check and drug screen
As a lead caregiver you will:
demonstrate necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflows (time management)
Function as a part of the leadership team by making suggestions to improve services, caregiver team training, and company policies, as well as listening to and reporting client and caregiver concerns
Understand and have the knowledge of the care plans for all new referrals and existing clients on services with agency
Effectively communicate regularly and promptly with the office staff regarding schedules, client needs, training needs, etc.
Learn, train, and live HIPAA requirements for client and caregiver privacy and rights
Demonstrate dependability and flexibility
Assist in preparing for orientation and training for all new hires and annual trainings
Be efficient and effective in conflict resolution
Service clients during call offs or when agency is short staff
Complete assessments and transfers request on new and transferring clients
Complete home visits with clients as needed
Oversee all caregivers
Fill in/provide occasional office or phone support as requested
Treat each Caregiving team member with respect, kindness, and dignity at all times
Maintain professional boundaries with clients and caregivers
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00
– $14.50 per hour
