Responsible for achieving customer objectives, Key Performance Indicators, and targets by implementing strategies and tactics while managing customers in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth.Duties and Responsibilities Sell to accounts in trade channels including Off-Premise, regional, and/or national customers Drive brand success via leadership selling against trade channels and actively supporting the selling efforts of sales reps, district managers, and key account specialists within the wholesaler Lead all parts of the sales process including targeting appropriate accounts, lead selling, education and positioning brands for success within the account Monitor field implementation and execution of programs within assigned accounts to ensure product pricing and promotion Regularly interact with field management for updating programming and brand priorities, brand standards and best practices leading to successful execution in the market Provide detailed tracking reports of wholesaler performance against agreed-to supplier objectives Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results Work with key assigned teams to deliver monthly goals (work-withs, product training samples, etc.) Create, coordinate, and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts (e.g.

wine maker dinners, product launches, and tastings) Perform other job related duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience 5 years of industry related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier communityValid state motor vehicle operator’s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with state lawsPreferred QualificationsComprehensive understanding of wine and spirits to include regions/varietals, product/food pairing techniques, basic production, and serviceAbility to adapt and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality typesStrong negotiation skills; demonstrate an entrepreneurial spiritAbility to create and sell innovative ideasGoal oriented, focused, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision Ability to work flexible hours which include early morning evenings, and/or weekendsAbility to work overnight travel as requiredAbility to participate in business meetings, company initiatives and events upon requestProficient at calculating commissions, percentages, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysisStay apprised of federal, state and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibilityPhysical DemandsPhysical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machinePhysical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stoopingMay require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45 lbs
