We are looking for experienced professional services Pricing Specialists, Project Controllers or Financial/Business analysts to move into a pricing role in support of large-scale contracts in a fast-paced business climate.

If you are seeking a challenging role that promotes personal development and the opportunity to contribute to organizational success, consider a career with the Deloitte GPS Pricing and Estimating Group.Work You’ll Do:As a Senior Pricing Specialist, you will report to the Pricing Team Lead of your assigned team, supporting the pricing of new and existing business opportunities across our Government and Public Services (GPS) practice.

The Senior Pricing Specialist will operate with supervision in the execution of the following key responsibilities:* Perform proposal preparation, coordinate vendor quotes, and participate in quality assurance reviews with guidance from the Team Lead.

Perform proposal reviews with management, primarily in a support role.* Build and populate templates to facilitate identification and population of staff within the estimating data.

Interact with Engagement Team, Procurement, and solicitation data, as applicable.* Assist in the development and communication of pricing and subcontracting strategies for proposals and execute those strategies.* Develop cost / price proposal exhibits to convey the appropriate information necessary to convey our cost / price data effectively and compliantly.* Develop and communicate Pricing’s requirements in the proposal planning/ scheduling process.* Review and interpret RFP/RFQ documentation with Team Lead and pursuit personnel to develop solicitation questions impacting pricing.* Coordinate review of the pricing volume with Contracts and other internal groups; review proposal with management.* Assist in the Pricing Volume content development and publication prior to submission.* Perform job-related duties as assigned.A high degree of collaboration and communication is expected and encouraged for success in this role.The teamTransparency, innovation, collaboration, sustainability: these are the characteristic attributes shaping Higher Education as well as Federal, State, and Local government initiatives today.

Our aspiration is to be the premier integrated solutions provider in helping to transform the Public Sector marketplace.The GPS Enabling Areas team provides specialized support such as proposal pricing to Deloitte’s internal business units by developing new products and services to sustain our competitive advantage, while consistently improving our existing collection of systems, processes, and functions.QualificationsRequired:* Minimum 2-3 years in professional service in one of the following disciplines (or combination thereof) professional services labor pricing, program control, financial analysis, market research, or consulting focused on providing business strategies, competitive intelligence, or market research within the Federal marketplace.* At least 2 years analytical experience (interpretation of data and reporting results)* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel modeling for analysis and data presentation, and PowerPoint for developing effective presentations* Undergraduate degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred:* General knowledge of the proposal life cycle as well as contract types, including fixed-price, cost, T&M/FPLH, GSA Schedules, BPA/IDIQs; Commercial and State & Local a plus* Familiar with Federal or State/Local solicitation pricing requirements and evaluation criteria* Concepts of Cost vs.

Price and general knowledge of cost accounting structures for direct and indirect costs* Ability to accurately develop and maintain pricing models, summarize data and perform peer validation / auditing functions* Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other contractual regulations relating to proposal pricing a plusThe ideal candidate will have analytical skills, attention to detail, be creative and inquisitive, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.

The candidate should have good organizational skills specifically around the management, analysis, and processing of large amounts of data to arrive at required outputs.

As such, analytical skills and the general ability to use standard tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Word are necessary.For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model.

We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the range is $59035 to $86970.
