Business Process Engineering Specialist

The Redox team is rapidly expanding and moving from a culture where it was possible to know all the players (team members and customers) and projects (org-wide strategic initiatives and customer-facing project implementations) to one where we have to rely much more on smart systems to inform us what to work on to create the most value.The Business Process Engineer will identify org-wide process improvement opportunities that will help reduce waste. The BPE role will then work closely with the stakeholders involved in those processes to understand their needs. The role will then explore ways to meet those needs through customization of the involved Business Software and change management/ education involving Redoxers and how they perform their work.The role will start out by being centered around improving general cross-team collaboration processes and customer-facing project implementations.What you’ll doDesign new and improve current processes using Lean principles to increase the flow and throughput of value:Work with data and stakeholders to understand bottlenecks and their context. Capture and translate business requirements into technical solution designs. Work with stakeholders to adopt process improvements.Design and improve enterprise software system customizations and system integrations to support the process improvements:Build and maintain key documentation regarding the processes and system integrations we support. Build and maintain alerting and reporting to ensure that sure we stay on top of potential failure points. Stay up to date with system product feature releases, articulate changes to existing processes, and provide recommendations for how to take advantage of new functionalityProcesses and systems this role will touch (not an exhaustive list):Work requests, intake, and completion across the org for cross-functional collaboration: Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira, Basecamp, Confluence; Implementation of customer-facing projects for Customer Success team: Gainsight, SFDC, Jira, JSM, Zapier, Redox Engine, DomoWhat you bringA natural inclination to understand complex systems and figure out how to improve themThe ability to be clear and convincing in meetings and writingA knack for influencing how other people think about problems and processesAlignment with our values and Redoxiness traits:Passionate about solving complex problems that improve the state of the world.
