THE ROLE: Analyst, Security Controls Assessor

Presidio is seeking an Analyst, Security Controls Assessor to join our team in a remote capacity. The primary responsibility for this role will be reviewing and completing client/vendor security requests of Presidio’s security. We are looking for someone with vast knowledge in various security standards such as NIST, ISO, ITIL, GDPR, and CCPA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, understand, and audit Presidio security infrastructure and posture
  • Advise internal teams and clients on Presidio’s security posture
  • Oversee, plan, and manage security audits/operations for clients
  • Conduct phone calls with clients when necessary
  • Form and maintain strategic relationships while understanding the customer’s business requirements, and balance those against the existing capabilities of Information Services
  • Collaborate with management to ensure that the relative security program and security-related projects meet the needs of the client
  • Present IT security risks to the CISO and/or executive management
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined and dynamic team
  • Represent Presidio as a key first point of contact to our Clients and their third parties

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work in a team environment to analyze Security Assessments and help develop procedural strategies for reviewing reports and services
  • Experience presenting Control requirements and deficiencies to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • We require at least one of these certifications: CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, SSCP, Security+, GSNA, or GSEC
  • Requires extensive experience in applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent work experience and/or military experience
  • 5 years’ IT Security experience
  • 2+ year’s experience with Security Controls Assessments
  • Strong understanding of information systems and infrastructures
