As an AR Specialist, you would be responsible for implementing your position’s responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards.  Under general supervision the Accounts Receivable Specialist provides financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts for a high volume of rental activity.
  • Maintains up to date billing system.
  • Generates and sends out invoices.
  • Follows up on, collects, and allocates payments.
  • Performs billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Carries out account reconciliations.
  • Monitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Researches and resolves payment discrepancies.
  • Generates age analysis reports.
  • Maintains accounts receivable customer files and records.
  • Processes payments.
  • Investigates and resolves customer queries.
  • Processes adjustments.
  • Develops a recovery system and initiates collection efforts.
  • Communicates with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.
  • Assists with month-end closing.
  • Collects data and prepare monthly metrics.
