Summary The Marketing Communications Specialist, Senior , Ag Business, will support CHS Ag Business (includes global grain and fertilizer risk and trading, supply chain, and processing operations), CHS Global Research and CHS Hedging, a wholly-owned commodity brokerage firm.

The position will be responsible for supporting strategic marketing communications initiatives to drive growth, brand awareness and customer engagement.

The successful candidate will work closely with marketing communications and business stakeholders while reporting to the marketing communications expert, Ag Business.

The candidate should be a utility player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with effective communications and storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities Work with internal clients within the businesses to execute marketing communications campaigns and programs aligned with CHS Global Grain & Processing and CHS Hedging Create and write strategic communications, newsletter stories and related content for customers and internal audiences Contribute to domestic and global marketing communications efforts with an emphasis on digital tools and channels, reinforcing brand guidelines across continents Work with agencies and vendors partnerships to deliver consistent, quality work that aligns with strategies and meets established goals and metrics Deliver work that meets needs of internal business and project stakeholders through effective planning and communication, timely delivery and regular reporting Support ag trade media opportunities in conjunction with marketing communications colleagues Minimum Qualifications (required) 5-7 years of internal or agency marketing communications or equivalent experience Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or ag business Critical-thinking skills with exceptional writing and communications Experience across multiple disciplines such as executive writing and messaging, advertising, public and media relations, digital, and social and event marketing Ability to establish credibility and develop trusted relationships with business and marketing communications colleagues Self-directed, with ability to confidently exercise discretion and independent judgement in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Additional Qualifications Understanding of, or interest in, production agriculture Working knowledge or experience in agriculture marketing communications CHS offers a competitive total compensation package.
