Technidyne Corporation is looking for a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary, prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped, posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment, and assists with inventory control.Technidyne Corporation manufactures the highest-quality instrumentation for the precise measurement and control of the optical, surface, and physical properties of paper and related products is simply what Technidyne does.

Orders shipping materials as needed.Ships customer orders accurately and in the timeframes required.

Receives and checks incoming orders against P.O.s, puts stock away in warehouse or prepares for shipment.

Pulls sub-assembly kits as requested and required.

Performs work to assemble kits and packages kits for shipping.

Interacts with the shipping providers to receive and send out shipments on a daily basis.

Communicates with service, purchasing, machine shop and finance associate/shipping to handle paper work, confirm shipments and answer questions.

Maintains cleanliness of the shipping area including sweeping, taking out trash, and breaking down boxes.

May sweep and mop production and machine shop areas as needed and requested.

Prints pick tickets at the end of the day to prepare for shipping items the next day.

Performs miscellaneous maintenance duties to include, but not be necessarily limited to: changing light bulbs, ensuring copier has paper; taking out kitchen trash, unclogging roof gutters and drains, changing air filters, moving tables and chairs and other related activities.

Maintains a safe working environment and ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed.
