FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy Latin-America is a recently established a regional commercial office based in Miami.

This office serves South America, Central America, Caribbean and Australia/Asia markets selling a wide range of imported specialty cheeses and dairy products produced in the Netherlands and other countries around the world.

We have a fantastic opportunity for the right individual with extensive experience working in Latin America within FMCG, specifically dairy and/or specialty cheese, to join our growing team as a Logistics and Customer Care Coordinator.This role will support the Supply Chain team for Latin American and Australian/Asia markets.

The right individual will bring proven knowledge of logistics in Latin America, flexibility and innovation to the role.

This role will be responsible for the supporting the Customer Care team as well as logistics for Latin America.

Key Responsibilities include: Optimization of logistical processes, and commercial and financial aspects of the logistical processesWorks with Sales team to provide logistics aspects of proposals for customers, based on customer’s needs and within the logistic plan.Provides input on assessment, selection and/or contracting of logistical service providers.Provide analyses of logistical processes, evaluating bottlenecks and advising regarding improvements in processes and procedures, to ensure higher service, lower complexity and/or higher cost efficiencyMonitor, evaluate and report logistical performance including logistical providers, competitor analyze and external supply chain conditions to ensure the highest level of satisfaction for customers.Build and maintain a network of relevant internal and/or external customers, partners and logistical service providers to provide information and new ideas are used as input for own activities and access to relevant parties and (new) information is maintained.Provide insights to the Commercial team on trends, logistical performance and impact to assist with creating efficiencies and cost savings.Support the Customer Care team with answering customer calls and questions as necessary.Support the Director Supply Chain with projects and analysis as needed.Requirements: 5-7 years working in logistics for import/exports organizationStrong computer skills including SAPAbility to juggle multiple tasks and projects3-5 years of working in the LATAM marketsWorking in dairy or other perishable food industry a plusBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain preferred
