Network Engineer

This is a Full-time position in Las Vegas, NV posted May 13, 2021.

We are looking for talented, Sr Network Engineers to oversee the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the network architecture as well as supporting the daily operations. Responsibilitiesbull Perform complex network management design and integrationbull Plan, forecast, implement, and identify resource and bandwidth requirements for network devices and connectionsbull Participate in design reviews of information technology systemsbull Provide technical expertise on projects for voice, video, and data systemsbull Identify, evaluate, and assist staff in the selection of hardware, software, and servicesbull Monitor and control all infrastructure including local and wide area networksbull Oversee local area network (LAN), wireless local area network (WLAN), and wide area network (WAN) installation, configuration, and ongoing field servicebull Monitor protocol compatibility, perform system tuning, and make recommendations for improvementbull Configure servers, computers, and a variety of networking equipmentbull Respond to network outage emergencies 7+ years of experience troubleshooting TCPIP and Ethernet networks Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Identity Services Engine Experience with configuring and troubleshooting VPN Posturing Experience with configuring and troubleshooting 802.1x Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Anyconnect VPN Strong understanding of the OSI model Experience with configuring and troubleshooting BGP, MPLS, VPN, OSPF, HSRP, and VLAN Experience in generating and diagnosing network captures Experience with network security systems such as Web Application Firewalls, and IDSIPS systems Experience with disaster recovery strategies Experience with proxy systems and load balancers Understanding of compression and encryption technologies Experience with network security best-practices Must have strong communication skills Must have the ability to work individually, within a team, with other groups, and with vendors Must have ability to communicate complex technical problems concisely and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment All candidates must be legally eligible to work for any employer in the United States.
