ETL Developer- Data Warehouse

This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted August 1, 2022.

Overview: ETL Developer
– Data Warehouse (Remote Opportunity) Contribute to the overall design, build and implementation of the mapping, extract, transform and load (ETL) programming from source systems to Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and other data assets, utilizing various ETL tools and technologies.

Partner with other IT areas to ensure successful delivery and testing of the ETL data from source systems.

Propose and develop architecture, methods and procedures for the successful implementation of ETL solutions, i.e.

requirements documentation, development, testing, implementation strategy and deployment.

Develop and implement solutions in an and Agile team environment consisting of poly-skilled developers working across all areas of our technology stack, including Oracle APEX, QlikSense Crystal Reports in addition to traditional ETL tools, such as Business Object Data Services and SSIS.

Participate in peer programming, testing and code review.

Work closely with internal customers to define value driven features, design technical solutions and collaborate on end user testing.

Produce and maintain documentation for code, migrations and related support activities.

Responsibilities: Data warehouse design, development and supportCodes and documents scripts and stored procedures.

Designs and implements data strategy methods.

Develops appropriate system documentation.Lead and manage the requirements collection, design and delivery of the Data Warehouse solutions and ETL processes.Interact with end users and translate business language into technical requirementsDesign, develop, test and deploy dashboards, reports and alerts/notifications for the presentation of business metrics according to business user requirements consistent with integrated BI applications and warehouse structureDefine and implement best practices for ETL design, develop and implement data modeling standards including element naming conventions.Perform data sourcing analysis and data dictionary administration, to include developing new data dictionariesTransform business requirements into logical data modelsPerforms all functional duties independently.Active participant in Agile methodologies and process definition and team adherenceSupport of Epic Clarity databaseSupport of Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field3 years of progressive data warehousing/database experience (e.g.

Consultant, Systems Analyst, Software Engineer).Experience working with healthcare data in general and specifically Epic Clarity is preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Skills in business intelligence tools is preferredExperience in Agile methodology2 years of experience in the following (may be concurrent with 5 years): SSISBusiness Objects Data Services UNIX or LINUX Perl or Shell scripting Optimization of large data loads.EOE/M/F/Disabilty/Vet
