Role Purpose

Achieve staffing objective by evaluating job candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and job offers. Tracks and reports recruitment progress and job offers, communicates with local management and corporate recruitment staff. The selected candidate must have the ability to interact in a positive supportive manner with both internal and external customers.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years non-exempt and exempt recruiting experience, including managing multiple high-volume roles simultaneously
  • Ability to conduct various types of interviews
  • Transit environment experience preferred
  • Recruitment community outreach experience preferred
  • Experience with delivering a high level of customer service
  • Experience to work both as a team member and on own initiative
  • Must have intermediate MS Office computer experience and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) helpful

 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
  • Establish recruiting requirements by working closely with department managers
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Maintains detailed documentation on all candidates’ progress in recruitment database
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate recruitment source
  • Research and contact community services, employment agencies and internet to build applicant sources
  • Represent Keolis at various job fairs and community events
  • Determine position requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications
  • Conduct both phone and in-person job interviews, analyze and document responses
  • Evaluate candidates by discussing job requirements and candidate qualifications with management
  • Assisting with background checks on candidates
  • Review and approve candidate documents such as MVR reports and appropriate driver license
  • Organize and conducts frequent job offers with driver candidates
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the management team

  • Generally, works inside air-conditioned office; May sit for over six hours a day; May stand for over 4 hours a day; High volume of use of computer keyboard and monitor, for over six hours a day; High volume use of telephone and computer. Occasionally drives a company vehicle.
