To learn more about the hundreds of medical issues we treat, visit us at DoctorOnDemand.Job Summary:The Human Resources Intern provides support to the HR team by leading projects and supporting organizational initiatives and day-to-day activities of the department. By combining academic knowledge with the opportunity for hands-on experience, the HR Intern gains exposure and experience in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, compliance, HR systems and technology, employee engagement and more.In addition to providing general and administrative support for both the HR Operations and Talent Acquisition teams, the HR Intern will lead projects focused on:* Auditing employee data, including Employment Agreements, I-9 documents, Entitlement Policies, etc. and creating action plans to update or reconcile data as necessary* Auditing Job Description inventory and providing support for the creation of new or updated job descriptions* Providing administrative and technical support for the Annual Performance Evaluation and Compensation cycles* Researching and recommending job boards and posting sites with specific focus on diversity and inclusion* Partnering with Marketing to enhance Careers page content and social media presenceRequired Skills/Abilities:* Strong technical skills, including advanced skills in Excel* Experience with social media tools/applications* Strong project management skills* Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEducation and Experience:* Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program with a focus on Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business required* Previous work experience in a corporate environment preferredPhysical Requirements:* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerThis is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
