Analyst Demand Planning Travel Retail Worldwide

This is a Contract position in Las Vegas, NV posted November 21, 2021.

DESCRIPTION The Analyst will have the Demand Planning responsibility for multiple brands in Travel Retail Worldwide, while directly supporting the Demand Planning Manager on analysis and forecast.

The position will coordinate the brand’s inputs (brand marketing strategies, programs, promotional calendar, etc.) to create the product forecasts (launches, events, promotions and in-line).

Interaction will frequently be at the senior levels in the brand organization.

The Analyst will also support the Travel Retail Demand Planning team with reports, analysis, and miscellaneous projects
– Support Cluster team by creating monthly reports and analysis for multiple brands.

Provide insights by calling out certain patterns in the reports.

(Ex: this brand has the highest undersell tendency and has most affected the total undersell in TR, majority of the undersell is in Make-up category but mainly in D ranking codes.

Recommendations: adjust stat model, manual adjustments of forecasts are needed).

– Assist the team with special projects as these arise (ex: cannibalization due to a new launch, identify chronic Out-Of-Stock or Bias SKUs over defined period of time and raise it to the Demand Planning Manager or Director).

– Regularly evaluate actual performance to forecasted demand by using O9 system, analyzing the variances and initiating appropriate corrective actions by consulting with TR Marketing and adjusting forecasts accordingly.

– Develop new product forecasts in tandem with TR Marketing, with reference to sales plans and analysis of performance of like products.

Review forecasts with TR NY Marketing Director or Vice-President.

– Lead TR Pre-SIOP (Brand Consensus) monthly meetings and provide input to TR Marketing and TR Finance to influence the financial estimate for Ls and ADF brands.

– University degree.

Supply Chain/Data Analytics degree is a plus.

– Advanced Excel skills.

O9 experience is a plus.

– 2 years of working experience in an analytical position, preferable a demand planning position.

– Excellent organization, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.

– Demonstrated record of successfully working with all levels of management.
