We want you to apply now The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist – Infections Disease is an experienced practitioner with advanced clinical skills; he or she provides direct patient-specific pharmacotherapy and clinical services to the hospital patients following current, evidence-based guidelines and in conformity of applicable medication management standards. EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE), leading to a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy. Completion of an accredited Residency Program OR Pharm.D. with a minimum of three (3) years of clinical pharmacy practice in a predominantly collaborative pharmacotherapy setting is required or B.S. of Pharmacy with a minimum of five (5) years of clinical pharmacy practice in a predominantly collaborative pharmacotherapy setting is required. Current Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other nationally recognized clinical pharmacy specialties is preferred. Infectious disease training is required. LICENSURE: Current Nevada license to practice Pharmacy or eligibility required. Current BLS and ACLS certificates are required. EXPERIENCE: Prior experience providing pharmacotherapy in a collaborative institutional setting is required. Prior experience providing education/instruction to health care professionals required.
