The staff occupationaltherapist is responsible for the evaluation, assessment and treatment of a widevariety of patients, including, but not limited to patients with: neurological,orthopedic, cardiac, and other medical conditions in the areas of acute, sub-acute,rehabilitation and outpatient occupational therapy. The staff occupationaltherapist is responsible for the supervision of occupational therapy assistantsand rehab technicians.

The staff occupationaltherapist must evaluate and treat patients in accordance with the rules andregulations of this facility, the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, and theState of Nevada, Board of Professional Regulations.

The staff occupationaltherapist must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and developmentover the life span and assess and interpret data reflective of the patientsmedical status and age specific needs, in order to provide the appropriatecare, as described in the departments policies and procedures.

The staff occupationaltherapist will provide goal directed treatment program planning, implementationand modification, as well as related documentation and communication forpediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations, without regard to race,color, sex, religion, or national origin.



One to two yearsexperience in clinical setting preferred; rehabilitation

experiencepreferred. Entry level graduates will beconsidered.


Bachelor of Science oradvanced degree in Occupational Therapy.


State of Nevada, asrequired
