Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist

Overview Founded in 1971, Dialysis Clinic, Inc.

(DCI) remains the nation’s largest non-profit dialysis provider.

With a team of approximately 5,000 talented and caring employees serving across the United States, DCI provides care to nearly 15,000 patients on dialysis and 3,500 patients with chronic kidney disease.

We offer a variety of services including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (PD).

Each position within DCI, from billers to administrators to nursing staff, contributes toward the goal of providing excellent patient care.

Our staff has helped DCI achieve the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for the past 13 years in a row.

DCI is seeking a full-time Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist who is proficient working in a multi-state organization dealing with physician and allied staff credentialing.

This person will also assist in other general legal department operations as needed.

Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to the success of this position.

Responsibilities Efficiently and accurately process credentialing and re-credentialing of providers per DCI Medical Staff and Allied Staff Bylaws and other policy and procedures.

Update and maintain confidential records of credentialing including electronic database.

Assist legal department team with general administrative tasks as needed.

Work special projects as assigned by legal department attorneys.

Job Requirements: Preferred (not required) 1-3 years provider credentialing experience, including familiarity with NPDB, state licensure, and other verification systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and credentialing platforms.

Adaptability in learning new computer systems and credentialing processes.

Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Familiarity of medical terminology.
