POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Medical Records / Front Desk specialist who will provide excellent service to patients and referring physicians.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and gather patient record information.
Verify patient chart information is accurate and complete.
Create and store patient records electronically.
Transfer patient records between multiple data bases.
Maintain medical records task list, by requesting information needed for patient record.
Obtain outside images and reports.
Document notes regarding all records received or sent out.
Respond to all records request.
Answer phones.
Burn CDs and push images.
Fill in and assist front desk with patient check in as needed.

Other duties as directed.
Assure compliance by maintaining all HIPAA regulations.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous medical office experience with knowledge of medical terminology
Basic computer and data entry experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
