We strive to be an employer of choice What You-ll Do: KEY ACCOUNTABILITY: Agile Activities (or waterfall)
– 25% Create test cases based on Agile work-items and user-stories or based onconventional requirements Work with our business and IT staff to build and maintain regression suites.

Participate in and provide relevant input in Scrums, kickoffs and estimatingsessions or provide similar relevant input into waterfall requirementssessions/meetings.

Key is being vocal.

Provide test requirement to automation developer when in scope.

Be the ownerof the requirements to further the automation regression suite.

Identify test cases for automation and work with automation developer toincorporate into the automation suite.

Identify all negative test scenarios not covered in work-items and user-storiesor other requirements gathering sessions.

Ensure work-items for non-user stories, such as common error handling,logging and other peripheral areas, are created in conjunction with eachuser-story.

Quality Assurance Standards
– 10% Develop or assist in developing test and quality standards for all system andapplication testing efforts.

Ensure common quality standards currently in place do not atrophy.

Must have the ability to promote, drive and maintain new quality standards asthey are introduced.

Continually communicate to our business partners and IT staff test strategiesand reasoning for approaches.

Partner With Technical Lead
– 30% Partner with technical leads to design and maintain proper test suites andenvironments to support large and small initiatives.

This includes test data,methodologies, environments, and vendors.

Planning & Execution
– 25% Plan effective testing for regression cycles, product updates, vendorupdates, configuration changes and break fix.

Plans should be documentedaccording on a scale according to their scope, properly socialized and approved by the business.

May execute independently orlead execution.

Documentation
– 10% Document all business rules for the system/ applications under test.

Thiswill need to be done over time but the effort must be consistent and completein order to fill documentation gaps from other areas.

The ideal candidate will have: 3 years of healthcare experience with 1 year experience testing a Payor System/Claims platform in one of the following domains: Claims, Provider or Payment Service
– 4 years of broad QA/Testing experience to include Web, Client and Database testing
– 2 years of database SQL experience in interrogating databases both OLTP and BI domains-Ability to build, maintain and enhance relationships with peers and business partners
– Ability to show analytical qualities through information gathering and preparation in the form of business requirements, test plans and scenarios, presentations, diagrams, etc.
– Intermediate to Advanced SQL Skills.
– Written and verbal communication to communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, project managers, functional managers and business partners.-1 year experience in Agile QA and SDLC lifecycles, best practices, and tools.
– Advanced ability to think through negative and alternate test scenarios.
– Understanding of web-services and ability to test them using tools such as SOAP UI.
– Technical skills to understand development environments, solution architecture, servers, version control, data modeling, scripting, and test automation tools
– Ability to formulate test strategy, test planning and test data creation and management
– MUST become a key contributor in all works sessions and scrums (or waterfall sessions) by having the ability to think quickly and provide analysis, questions and facts to the team
