ink Technologies is seeking a Systems Support Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Las Vegas, NV.The Systems Support Specialist will assist the clientrsquos end user community with information technology (IT) related questions and requests for support.

These can be via person, electronic (email and trouble ticket submittal) and telephone.

Provide first level of contact and attempt to resolve reported issues.

Systems Support personnel are full-time hourly employees working various hours from 400 AM to 600 PM Pacific Time.

Incumbents must have both technical knowledge and customer service skills.

As a representative of the Information Technology Department, it is always imperative to demonstrate courtesy and professionalism.

Major Responsibilities bull Diagnose information technology hardware and application software issues, escalating to level 2 and 3 support personnel as appropriate.

bull Develop and maintain a level of proficiency with client specific systems and technologies.

bull Document the details of an issue, resolution steps taken and expended time using a trouble ticket system.

bull Promptly report system outages and follow up with end users to provide updates.

bull Work independently to research and resolve technical issues.

bull Identify repeated patterns of reported issues and work with Information Technology staff to design resolution(s).

bull Provide end user application training for client specific systems and technologies.

bull Participate in on call rotation to monitor the Help Desk for critical issues after normal working days and hours.

bull Must exhibit an attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

bull Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Additional Responsibilities Familiarity and experience in some or all of the following systemstechnologies bull Custom developed user applications (Browser.NET based) bull Browser support (EdgeIEChromeSafariFirefox) bull Desktop support (Windows 10) bull Printer support (primarily HP) bull Microsoft Office 365 support bull VOIP support bull Service Desk Software (IssueTrakJira) bull Basic understanding of Cloud Computing bull Basic application development, infrastructure, database and system design knowledge Requirements bull Bachelorrsquos degree or equivalent experience.

bull 1-3 years in IT Help Desk or other technical support role.

bull Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to use proven problem-solving approaches.

bull Exceptional customer service, organizational, decision making and communication skills (i.e., verbal, written, presentation).

bull Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
