The Company’s mission is to build and operate an innovative, sustainable, profitable and scalable platform for the furnishings, home décor, gift and apparel industries.POSITION SUMMARYThe Receptionist is responsible for greeting market visitors, providing market information in a prompt, efficient manner. The Receptionist is the face of IMC, and the position demands excellent interpersonal skills.FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIESPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES* Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to individuals who come into the reception area.* Welcome guests and greet them cheerfully* Answer phone calls, handle general information questions and requests, and connect calls to appropriate personnel by transferring calls and ensuring that no calls go unanswered* Work closely with housekeeping to manage the inventory and restocking of all employee kitchenettes* Responsible for ordering all employee office supplies* Receive and log all incoming/outgoing packages, receive and sort incoming mail* Oversee campus conference rooms and schedules* Pre-qualify event inquiries and communicates to the Events team* Assist employees with shipping small packages (FedEx)QUALIFICATIONS* High degree of poise and professionalism* High attention to detail, and be highly organized* Excellent communication skills* Ability to greet market visitors, answer questions and provide clear directions* Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to IMC Market Procedures.* While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
