You might be the candidate Robert Half is looking for to work with a successful gaming organization that will recognize your efforts.

You will succeed in this position if you can lead daily accounting operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.

If you have the ability to create and monitor the company’s accounting and finance operations, you will be preferred for this position.

This Accounting Manager role is a permanent employment opportunity, based in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.


Supports revenue reporting of gaming revenue audits.

Responsibilities may include supervision and completion of daily audit deliverables, journal entries, account reconciliations and tax returns.

Assists the Accounting Controller in the overall supervision of the Revenue Recognition department.

• Plans and assists the senior accountants in gaming and non-gaming revenue audits which include reconciling, analyzing, recording, and reviewing documents for proper completion.

• Reviews journal entries, account reconciliations, and regulatory revenue tax returns as assigned.

• Maintain established acceptable accounting procedures in revenue recognition and tax liability to effectively control the assets of the company.

• Assisting the Accounting Director in assuring timely responses to internal and external audit recommendations.

Manage the implementation of corrective action plans where needed.

• Develop and implement best practices in all areas of the Revenue Recognition department.

• Apply knowledge and understanding of operations and audit procedures towards the goal of developing, counseling, training, and scheduling of accountants

Job Requirements:


• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry accounting experience required

• Understanding of regulatory requirements is required

• Understanding of SOX 404 and GAAP is required

• Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory and accounting experience required

• Working knowledge of CMS, LMS, Infinium and various Point of Sale systems preferred
