Accounting Manager

The duties include, but are not limited to, monthly and quarterly journal entries for Accounts Receivable and Payroll, Revenue and Receivable analysis, and other duties assigned.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or finance.

A minimum of 3 yeas supervisory experienceA minimum of 7-10 years general accounting experience.

Must be familiar with basic accounting practices and principles, including general ledger functions, monthly closing and preparation of financial reports using industry standard software.Keep current on published FASB rulings and relevance to Accra reportingAbility to manage numerous tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Knowledge and use of accounting software a plus.Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, confidentiality and discretion while working collaboratively in a small office environment, independently and as a team member.Ability to work with a wide variety of peopleSelf-starter with ability to take initiative and problem solveAdvanced communication skills, both written and oralIntermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and navigating databases.
